This is my personal portfolio. It is a small site, and it collects very little. This page lays out exactly what it collects, why, and how to opt out.

Who runs this site
brandoniben.com is the personal portfolio of Brandon Iben. The site is maintained and paid for by Red Letter Agency, LLC, which is the party responsible for the information described here. Questions about your information can go to brandon@brandoniben.com.
What this site collects
I do not ask you to sign in, and I run no ads. Most of what the site sees is anonymous usage data:
- Which pages and projects you view, your rough location (from your IP address), and the browser and device you use. This comes from Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics.
- Whether you play a case study video and how it plays back, from Mux (the video player) and Vercel Speed Insights.
- Standard server logs kept by Vercel, the host, as a normal part of serving the site (including your IP address and the time of each request).
If you email me, I receive your address and whatever you write. This is a portfolio built to win work, so I may use it to reply, to follow up about working together, and to keep a record in case the conversation turns into a project. I will not add you to a mailing list or sell your information.
Cookies and storage
Google Analytics sets a few first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) so it can tell repeat visits apart. They expire on their own, the longest after about two years.
The video player keeps a small id in your browser's local storage so playback measurement stays consistent. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights use no cookies at all.
You can block or clear any of this from your browser settings. See Your choices below.
Who handles the data
I do not sell your information, and I do not share it for advertising. The data above is processed by the services that collect it for me:
- Google Analytics, by Google LLC (privacy policy).
- Hosting, Analytics, and Speed Insights, by Vercel Inc. (privacy policy).
- Video playback and analytics, by Mux, Inc. (privacy policy).
Your choices
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
- Use Google's opt-out browser add-on to switch off Google Analytics.
- Send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. I keep tracking minimal and sell nothing regardless.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK, or California), you may have the right to see the information held about you, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, or opt out of its sale. I do not sell it. To make a request, email brandon@brandoniben.com and I will take care of it.
How long it is kept
Analytics data lives only as long as these services retain it; Google Analytics is set to its standard retention window. Emails you send me, and any notes I keep about a possible project, stay until they are no longer useful.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page.
